This blog is a space for thoughtful stories and real conversations. It’s where strategy meets storytelling, and where you might just find what you’ve been craving.
I’m Amy.

We’ve talked about Spark, Nourish, and Claim, the core phases of building a powerful brand. But here’s the thing: creating the brand is just the beginning. The real work happens when you step into it. That’s why this next phase, Embody, is so crucial, and honestly, why it can feel so uncomfortable.

Why Embodying Your
Brand Feels Hard

It’s one thing to refine your messaging, uplevel your offers, and create a beautiful brand. But embodying it? That’s a whole different muscle. I see it all the time – business owners pouring their energy into the creation phase and then freezing when it’s time to put it all out into the world. Why? Because stepping into a bigger version of yourself means you have to get comfortable with the new level of visibility, pricing, and authority that comes with it.

I’ve been there. When I first started sending out proposals, they were tiny – pennies on the dollar compared to what I charge now. But each time I pushed my edge, it got easier. Now? Sending out a five-figure proposal feels like second nature. That’s the power of practice.

Three Steps to Start
Embodying Your Brand

So how do you step into this next version of yourself without feeling like a fraud? Here’s what I tell my clients:

1. Visualize Who You Need to Be
You can’t become what you can’t see. Close your eyes and picture the version of you that’s running your next-level business. How does she speak? How does she carry herself? What boundaries does she hold? Write it down, make a playlist, or create a vision board. Whatever helps you lock into that identity.

2. Find Your Edge
Growth doesn’t happen without discomfort. Start practicing those next-level moves: raising your prices, speaking up in meetings, pitching to that dream client, even if it feels uncomfortable. When I first raised my rates, it was terrifying. But with each proposal, I built the muscle. Now it’s just how I operate.

3. Practice Gratitude
It’s easy to focus on where you’re going and forget how far you’ve come. Take a moment to thank the past version of you who built the foundation you’re standing on now. Gratitude grounds you and makes it easier to trust the process, even when it feels messy.

    A Personal Story About
    Owning My Worth

A while back, I bought a new business vehicle and it was a big deal. Growing up with a Dave Ramsey mindset, big purchases like that made me nervous. When the sales guy asked if I loved it, I admitted I was kind of scared to drive it. He looked at me and said, “I hope you drive this like you own it – because you do.”

That stuck with me. How often do we create something beautiful, only to hesitate when it’s time to own it? Driving that car has become a daily reminder to step fully into the business and life I’ve built and to stop treating my success like it’s borrowed.

    Step Into Your Next Level

Embodying your brand isn’t about perfection, but showing up as the most aligned version of you. Visualize it. Practice it. Trust that you’re worthy of the next level. And most importantly… drive it like you own it.
