From the moment she started sharing about a retreat in Sedona that helped her reclaim her gifts, I knew this was going to be one of those conversations that leaves a mark. Christy Nault’s story touches on trauma, chronic illness, nervous system healing, and the way our bodies hold the score — especially for women building big lives and businesses.
Christy has spent over 15 years in the women’s holistic healing space. She’s a root cause health practitioner, the founder and CEO of Microflow (a supplement company for women), and the creator of the wildly transformative “Hormone Glow Up” program. But more than titles or achievements, she brings a lived experience to her work that’s impossible to ignore.
We covered a lot in our conversation: from healing after trauma and chronic illness to building a seven-figure business without burning out. Here are a few of the most powerful takeaways:
The Truth About “Doing Everything Right”
Christy’s story is deeply personal. After losing her brother and navigating a lifetime of perfectionism, her health completely collapsed. But she wasn’t new to wellness. She was doing the workouts, eating “right,” even meditating. And still… her body broke down.
That’s when she realized: We can’t heal with the same systems that made us sick. There is more to healing than green juice and supplements. We have to address the emotional and spiritual roots of illness.
Creating Nervous System Safety
As part of her healing journey, Christy turned to a modality that helped her reconnect with her body, regulate her nervous system, and gently surface the subconscious patterns driving her health challenges. She describes it as an “illuminator” that allowed her to heal from the inside out and ultimately hold more space in both her personal and professional life.
It’s not a quick fix or a magic bullet. It’s a practice she built on top of deep nourishment, emotional work, and a commitment to simplicity. And while it may not be for everyone, Christy’s experience is a powerful reminder that when we slow down and support the body, transformation becomes possible.
The Power of Foundations
I was floored when Christy said 94% of Americans are metabolically unwell. Most of us are walking around totally under-resourced, which is why Christy focuses on simple, foundational practices instead of complicated protocols. That’s why her foundational work is so effective.
Things like:
- Eating breakfast within an hour of waking (with 30g of protein)
- Getting real morning sunlight on your face
- Prioritizing circadian rhythm and blood sugar balance
They’re not sexy. But they’re transformative. And if you’re a woman in your 30s–50s building a big life or business, these are non-negotiable.
Scaling With Sustainability
Yes, Christy built a seven-figure business in one year. But not because she chased strategy. She followed her intuition, led with service, and created resources for women like her, who had “tried everything” and were still exhausted.
And she’s still evolving. Her next chapter? Microflow University, a certification program for those who want to bring this healing work to others.
